This concert presents a panorama of eighteenth-century music, performed by specialists in the field. The program includes works by Jean-Féry Rebel, C. P. E. Bach, G. P. Telemann, Marianna Martines, and other composers. Audiences will be guided through the repertoire with spoken explanations of contexts and descriptions of instruments, and perhaps some surprising stories about music of the period.
